Wonderful vintage early 1940s silk haori kimono jacket in dark purple with Omeshi floral woven embroidery. This is a heavier weight silk crepe with a slightly more formal feel. Half lined in silk and it has inner ties at the bust. The sleeves have been taken up and tacked down on the inside, the can easily be let back out for the full length, probably 4 to 5 more inches. You can see the excess amount available on the left side of the 4th photo. In very good condition, there is one light mark on the back of the neck and one old mend on the sleeve, see right side of last photo.
